Remove the mower from the packaging and check that the following
items have been supplied correctly. If any items are missing contact,
your local Hayter dealer.
1. Engine Handbook.
2. Owners Handbook.
3. Plug Mulching.
4. Grassbag.
To prevent accidents cut off the long ribbon attached to the grass-
bag and discard.
Attach lower handlebar to rear of the mower deck using the 8x60mm
screws and 2 handwheels (note! 1 screw is already in the deck).
Attach the upper handlebar to the lower handlebar using 8x45mm sad-
dle screws and handwheels. Tighten all handwheels before operating the
mower.
Take care to ensure that the control cables do not become snagged at
the pivot point.
To assemble the grass bag insert the long loop of the frame into the open
end of the grassbag with frame handle at the top and the plastic base at
the bottom. Snap the plastic mouldings around the open edge of the bag
onto the frame. Now snap the grassbag cover onto the top of the assem-
bly at the back.
Raise the rear deflector, lower the grassbag through the handlebar and
hook in position. Lower the deflector to rest against the rest of the
grassbag.
