11. Confi rmity
This device has been tested under Part 15 of the FCC Rules, and it has been con rmed
that the tolerance limits for a Class B digital device have been met. These tolerance limits
are intended to o er suitable protection against hazardous sources of interference when
installed in residential accommodation. If this device is not installed as per the instruc-
tions, television, radio receivers and radio transmission and reception devices may su er
interference
Operation of this device is permitted where both of the following criteria are met:
(1) No hazardous interference may be permitted to emanate from this device.
(2) This device must accommodate incoming interference. This includes types of
interference which are capable of causing impairment of functionality of
operation.
In the event of this device causing interference on a radio or television receiver (the
simplest way to determine this is to switch the device on and off ) the user should
attempt to rectify the interference by doing the following:
• Turning the reception aerial in a diff erent direction or affi xing it elsewhere.
• Moving the device and the receiver further apart from each other.
• Consult your dealer or an experienced radio/TV engineer.
The CE mark of certifi cation has been affi xed to this device in
accordance with the following European directives:
2004/108/EC EMV Directive
The EC statement of compliance may be requested at the address
given on the warranty card.
