2. Lightly push down on the top sur-
face of the routing device cover with
the symbol mark shown in the il-
lustration, then pull it forward to re-
move.

3. Pull the seatback release lever and
swing the seatback forward slightly.
Route the top strap through the
routing device as shown in the il-
lustration.
Latch the hook onto the anchor
bracket.
Return the seatback to upright posi-
tion.

4. Fix the child restraint system with
the seat belt and tighten the top
strap.
Replace the passenger head
straint.
Store the removed cover in a safe place
such as the glove box.
Be sure to replace the cover when the
anchor bracket is not in use.
