Firmware Upgrade
Download the Firmware Upgrade tool with the last version of the relevant Firmware
<DPMFirmwareV0103.exe> (e.g. for Firmware version 01.03) and the <Upgrade.txt> file
(information about how to upgrade the Firmware of the DPM2 family) from
http://www.speech.philips.com/service/
To upgrade the Firmware on LFH 9750:
It is strongly advised to follow the correct sequence given below !
1. Push the Trigger Firmware Upgrade switch on the rear of the machine (through the
hole marked with P) by using a small pin whilst simultaneously plugging in the power
supply. To confirm the Upgrade mode the Display is now switched off.
2. Start the <DPMFirmwareV0103.exe> file.
3. Connect the LFH 9750 to the PC by using the USB download cable.
Click "OK"
Simultaneously with above message the LCD on LFH 9750 displays: "Update please
wait", followed by "Unplug USB cable" to confirm the correct upgrade procedure.
Click "OK"
4. Disconnect the USB cable.
After starting the Test mode by pressing DOWNLOAD and DELETE buttons and JOG Dial
simultaneously the Display indicates the loaded Firmware version, e.g. VER: 01.03
to a dedicated directory on your PC.
