Important Note: Using Your Camcorder Underwater

Before Using Camcorder Underwater
The DVR 850W can be used to capture photos and videos underwater up
to a depth of 10 feet / 3 meters. Do not use your camera below this depth
as this may cause water to enter the battery door seal and damage the
camera.
Before using the camcorder underwater make sure you know how the camcorder
works. Reading through the User Manual will help you get to know your camcorder.
Insert the SD card and battery with dry hands before going underwater.
Make sure the water resistance battery cover door is closed properly before going
underwater with your camcorder.
Do not open the battery cover while underwater.
Use the camcorder as you normally would to capture photos and videos.
Camcorder Dry Out after Using Underwater
After capturing images underwater it is normal that some water may enter the
camcorder. This will not damage the camcorder or the image captured.
Once out of the water any water in the camcorder will drain and gradually dry out
by itself. Dry the camera with a clean and dry towel. Turn the camera over and rest
it on a flat and dry surface as shown in the diagram below, to let the water drain
gradually. This may take at least a few hours.
