Booting MacOS X from RocketRAID 642L Adapter via EFI

Currently, MacOS X cannot be directly installed to Legacy disks or
arrays hosted by RocketRAID 642L HBA's. To boot the system, you
need to clone an installed system to the Legacy disk or arrays.
1. Run Disk Utility and create a new volume on the selected
Legacy Disk or array.
2. Clone the Mac OS X system volume to this new volume, using a
disk cloning utility (such as Carbon Copy Cloner).
3. Shutdown and remove the original boot volume -- OS X will
now automatically boot from the Legacy Disk/array.
