1. Open the system chassis and locate an unused PCI-E x16 slot. 2. Remove the PCI-E slot cover. 3. Gently insert the RocketRAID 644L / 644LS / 642L HBA into the PCI-E slot, and secure the bracket to the system chassis. - Page 6 6. Double-click on the installer package labeled to start the installation process. The Web RAID Management Software (Web GUI) for the RocketRAID 644L / 644LS / 642L will be automatically installed alongside the driver. 7. Follow the onscreen prompts to install the RocketRAID 644L / 644LS / 642L HBA driver and Web RAID Management software.
