Hi, I have a problem with my weedeater. The line is too short to pull out of the eyelet. Its basically flush with the head of the weedeater. I haven't been able to find any instructions on taking the head apart so I can remove the string caught in the loading spool. Anything you can do to help is appreciated.

To remove the string caught in the loading spool of a Ryobi RY40204 weedeater:

1. Remove the battery pack for safety.
2. Push in the tabs on the sides of the spool retainer.
3. Pull the spool retainer up to remove it.
4. Remove the old spool.
5. If the line is tangled, remove it from the spool and rewind properly.

Make sure to wear eye protection while performing this task.
