Answer a call

When your phone rings and/or vibrates

Store a phone number

You can store a phone number in
Contacts:
1 Press >

2 Enter a name for the new entry and
press . Each entry's name can

contain up to 20 characters.
3 Select a specific Ringtone and
press .

4 Select a type for the entry (Mobile,
Walkie-Talkie, Work1, Work2,
Home, Email, Fax, Pager, Talkgroup,
IP or Other) and press
5 Enter the number for the entry and
press .

6 Press Done to save the entry.
Tip: You can scroll left or right to store
and view other information for the entry.
You can choose a special ringer, store
an Email address, assign a Group, and
more.
After you have saved the number, the
new Contacts entry is displayed.

Shortcut: In Contacts, press keypad
keys to enter the first letter of the
