Replacing HEPA Exhaust Filter

The HEPA exhaust filter removes dirt
from recirculated air.
Check filter when installing a new
dust bag.
To check filter, place handle in low
position.
Press inward on both sides of
exhaust panel and remove by pulling
forward.
Remove filter if dirty.
Place new filter (Panasonic MC-V197H
only) in exhaust panel. DO NOT
CLEAN WITH WATER*.
Position new filter so slits in filter fit
around the four (4) raised pins.
* Filter cannot be cleaned and should
be replaced at least once each year.
