Erasing

Please note that erased images cannot be
recovered. Exercise caution before erasing
a file.

Erasing Images Individually

Slide the mode switch to
.

Select the image
you wish to erase
using
or
and
press the
button.
A confirmation screen appears.

Select [Erase] using
or
and
press the SET button.
To cancel instead of erasing, select [Cancel]
and press the SET button.
Protected images cannot be erased with
the erase function (p. 94).

Erasing All Images

In the [
(Play)]
menu, select
(Erase all) and
press the SET
button.
A confirmation screen appears.

Select [OK] using
or
and
press the SET button.
To cancel instead of erasing, select [Cancel]
and press the SET button.
Protected images cannot be erased with
the erase function (p. 94).
The [Erase all] function erases all the
image data recorded on the CF card.
You should format the CF card when you
want to erase not only image data but
also all the data contained on the card
(p. 21).
