MAINTENANCE/ADJUSTMENTS Grease the auger, jack-shaft, & blower shaft bearings approximately every 25 hours. Do not over grease. Usually one or two pumps are sufficient. Additional lubrication may be required in extremely harsh or dirty conditions. Gearbox manufacturers recommend changing the gearbox oil 50 hours after start up and then every 500 hours or seasonally, whichever comes first.

MAINTENANCE/ADJUSTMENTS Belt Tension Adjustment The belt spring tension is adjustable. This adjustment allows some belt slippage to protect the gearbox and drive components in the event an immovable object stops the auger or fan. At the factory, the spring is installed with the least amount of tension. The spring tension may be increased if required.
