1. INTRODUCTION The QU-18S Distribution Amplifier (splitter) accepts one HDMI input and splits this signal to eight identical outputs. This device is v1.4 HDMI compliant and now supports 4K resolutions, 3D Video signals, and ‘Deep Colour', together with High Definition Audio. Each buffered output can run 1080p/8-bit up to 20 metres and can also be cascaded up to 3 layers. -

6. OPERATION CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS 6.1 Front Panel HDMI OUT POWER SYNC POWER LED: Once the power supply is connected the LED will illuminate SYNC: This LED will illuminate when the HDMI input port is connected to an active source. HDMI OUT LEDs: These LEDs will illuminate when HDMI output are connected to TV or display monitor. -

6.2 Rear Panel HDMI IN HDMI OUT DC 5V RESET EDID SERVICE SYS RESET ON/OFF: This switch allows the user to perform a system reset. The default setting is OFF, leave as it is when in normal use. By switching ON, the unit will perform a reset every 8~10 minutes, in order to perfrom this function the displays must have CEC supported. -
