Installing a Micro SIM / Nano SIM card
A Micro / Nano subscriber identity module (Micro SIM / Nano SIM) card stores information, such as
your mobile phone number, contacts, messages and other data that gives you access to a mobile
network.
Your ASUS Phone comes with one Micro SIM and one Nano SIM card slot that allow you to set up
and use two mobile network services without having to carry two mobile devices at the same time.
CAUTION!
• This device is designed for use with a mobile carrier-approved Micro SIM / Nano SIM card only.
• We do not recommend the use of trimmed SIM cards in the Micro SIM / Nano SIM card slot.
• Turn off your device before inserting a Micro SIM / Nano SIM card.
• Be extra careful when handling a Micro SIM / Nano SIM card. ASUS is not responsible for any loss or
damage incurred to your Micro SIM / Nano SIM card.
• Do not insert a memory card into the Micro SIM / Nano SIM card slot! If a memory card happens
to be inserted into the Micro SIM / Nano SIM slot, send your device to an ASUS-qualified service
personnel.
To install a Micro SIM / Nano SIM card:
1. Turn off your device.
2. Push a pin into the hole on the Micro SIM, Nano SIM / Micro SD combo
card slot to eject the tray out.
3. Insert the Micro SIM or Nano SIM card into the Micro SIM or Nano SIM card slots.
IMPORTANT!
• You can only use the Nano SIM card or the MicroSD card
at a time.
• Use only a standard Micro SIM / Nano SIM card on your
ASUS Phone. A trimmed SIM card may not properly fit
into and may not be detected by your ASUS Phone.
• DO NOT install an empty nano to micro SIM adapter into
the micro SIM card slot to avoid irreversible damage.
