PERFORMING AN AUDIO RECORDING

Like a normal tape recorder, your digital camera can record sounds. Since the recording is digital,
rewinding to the beginning of the recording is quick and easy. When you add a voice memo to a
still image, only 4 seconds of recording time is allowed, but with the audio recording function, you
can record sound until the available memory of the installed card expires. (With the supplied
16MB CompactFlash card, the maximum recording time for one audio recording is 15 minutes,
and the total maximum recording time is 33 minutes and 35 seconds.)

œ The "audio recording" is selected on this screen.
