• Noise (electrical or magnetic interference) from cars,
trains, high-voltage lines, fluorescent lamps, etc.?
• Are you receiving noise (interference) from a
computer? If the antenna lead runs close to a
computer, move it away a slight distance.
• Is the antenna pointing in the correct direction?
The direction may have been changed by strong winds.
• Are you receiving signal reflections from mountains or
buildings?
• Reception disturbed by another TV set (interference)?
Reception can possibly be improved by moving the TV to
a different location. Interference may also be caused by
nearby radio or amateur transmitters.
• Has the ON SCREEN buyon been pressed?
Press the key again.
• Vertical lines may appear distorted due to reception
channel changes. However, this is not a malfunction.
• Power turned OFF?
• Does the equipment connected to the Tuner function
properly?
Connect the signal cable correctly.
• Check the picture settings.
• Refer to the computer instruction manual and set the
display mode to a different picture mode.
• Run VIDEO LEVEL AUTO (automatic video level setting)
after automatic size adjustment.
• If screen resolution is XGA (1024×768), set the clock
PHASE so that no flickering of characters occurs.
• Change the desktop pattern. (For details, refer to the
computer instruction manual.)
