Description
NOTE:
The ports on the LSWM2XGT2PM and LSWM2XGT8PM interface cards do not support EEE when they
•
are operating at Gbps.
The chassis depth increases by 55 mm (2.17 in) if you install the LSWM2XGT8PM interface card on the
•
switch.
The chassis depth increases by 75 mm (2.95 in) if you install the LSPM6FWD firewall card on the switch.
•
On an S5560-32C-HI switch, only expansion slot 2 supports the LSWM2XGT8PM, LSWM2SP8P, and
•
LSWM2SP8PM interface cards. If you install the LSWM2QP2P interface card in expansion slot 2, you
can split a QSFP+ port on the card into four SFP+ ports.
•
The S5560-38C-HI-XG switch provides only one expansion slot, which does not support the
LSWM2XGT8PM, LSWM2SP8P, and LSWM2SP8PM interface cards. If you install the LSWM2QP2P
interface card in the expansion slot, you cannot split a QSFP+ port on the card into four SFP+ ports.
Interface card operating mode
On the S5560-56C-HI, S5560-56F-HI, and S5560-56C-PWR-HI switches, you can use the
port-configuration-mode command to configure an interface card operating mode.
If you configure the interface card operating mode as 0:
•
The switch does not support the LSWM2XGT8PM, LSWM2SP8P, or LSWM2SP8PM interface
card.
A QSFP+ port on the LSWM2QP2P interface card cannot be split into four SFP+ ports.
If you configure the interface card operating mode as 1:
•
Only expansion slot 2 on the switch supports the LSWM2XGT8PM, LSWM2SP8P, and
LSWM2SP8PM interface cards.
A QSFP+ port on the LSWM2QP2P interface can be split into four SFP+ ports only if you install
the interface card in expansion slot 2.
Ports GigabitEthernet1/0/37 to GigabitEthernet1/0/48 on the front panel are not available.
