CAMERA

Take pictures and record video clips to send in an MMS or email message. Pictures
and video clips can also be sent via infrared or Bluetooth
Contacts cards.
Camera menu contains these main options:
Picture
TAKE PICTURE
Note: Camera mode depletes battery power more rapidly. To conserve your battery, the phone
shifts to camera standby mode after 1 minute if no keys are pressed.
From Camera menu:
1. Open Picture.
2. With the flip open, the main display acts as a viewfinder.
Move the phone around to frame your subject.
3. To snap the picture, press
• The picture is automatically saved to Pictures folder. See
My Items on page 69.
To send the picture immediately, press
Via Email, Via Bluetooth, or Via Infrared. To complete MMS
messages, see page 49; or Email messages on page 50; or Bluetooth
or Infrared on page 118.
If you do not want to save it, either:
Press
and select Yes.
Press Options and select Delete.
Change Capture Modes
To choose different picture capture modes, scroll
Standard
regular size landscape pictures (640x480 pixels [VGA])
Portrait
smaller pictures that use much less memory and can be placed in
Contacts cards (80X96 pixels)
• Red number in upper right corner indicates the number of pictures that can fit in
phone memory, depending on selected picture size.
Zoom
You can zoom in on your subject before taking a picture.
1. When viewing your subject in the viewfinder, press
again for 4x zoom. Press

to snap the picture.
