The SX-535
incorporates a
PLL
demodulator
circuit. This
adjustment
should
only
be made when
MPX IC
has been replaced.
o
This
adjustment should
be
made
after
completion
of
FM
section
adjustment.
1.
Switch positions on the
SX-535:
FUNCTION
FM MUTING
FM
OFF (pressed in)
ON
Conneet
to
FM ANTENNA
termi-
nals through 300O dummy
anten-
na.
Connect
to
FM
SG's
external
mod-
ulator
terminals.
Connect
horizontal input to
MPX
SG's PILOT OUT
termianls
and
vertical input to No.

terminal
of
tuner
assembly.
Distortion
meter
Connect
to
TAPE
REC jack.

Tune FM
SG
and SX-535
to
dial
readings
of
98MHz.
4.
Set
MPX SG
to
+67.5kH2 deviation
at
lkHz for left
and right
ehannels
and
FM
SG
output to
60d8.
5.
Produce a
Lissajous
pattern on
oseilloscope and adjust
VR1 to
make the
pattern still.
