ATTENTION
Pressing together the brake
pads with the brake caliper
z
removed.
The brake caliper cannot be
mounted over the brake disc.
Do not operate the brake
lever with the brake caliper
removed.
Remove screws 3 of brake
calipers on left and right.
Push brake pads 4 apart
slightly by rocking brake
caliper 5 back and forth against
brake disk 6.
Carefully pull brake calipers
back and out until clear of
brake disks.
Remove screw 1 and take
wheel speed sensor out of
bore.
Raise front of motorcy-
cle, preferably using a
BMW Motorrad front wheel
stand, continuing until the
wheel rotates freely.
