The icemaker ejects cubes in
groups of five, arid it is normal for
several cubes to be joined together.
However,
infrequent usage of ice
can cause ice dumps b form
in
the
storage bin.
In models CSF24 &
CSX24, this can result in temporary
malfunction of the dispenser
mechanism.
If this happens:
~ remove storage bin
from
freezer
compartment.
@break up ice clumps with fingertip
pressure and discard remaining
clumps
o
replace bin
before remaining
cubes melt and fuse together.
"Old" ice cubes will become
cloudy and taste stale. Empty ice
storage bin periodically and wash it
in lukewarm water. Be sure to allow
storage bin in models CSF24 and
CSX24 to cool before replacing it–.
otherwise ice cubes will stick to the
metal auger.

Water" cradle (or rubber pad on
model CSX22) and withdraw slowly
to catch last drops of water. Release
~ressure from "lee Cubes" cradle
on models CSF24 and CSX24 and

stops.

your refrigerator.
Under certain rare circum-
stances, ice cubes may be
discolored, usually appearing
with a green-bluish hue. The
cause of this unusual discolor-
ation is apparently due to a
combination of factors such as
certain characteristics of local
waters, household plumbing
and the accumulation of copper
salts in an inactive water supply
line which feeds the. icemaker.
Continued consumption of such
discolored ice cubes may be
injurious to health. {f such dis-
coloration is observed, discard
the ice cubes arid contact your

or an authorized Customer Care"
servicer.
