Troubleshooting

After connecting the TPA-311 to a power outlet, the PWR LED does not turn on.
1. Check the connection of the external power adapter to the TPA-311 and the power outlet.
2. Check that the power outlet is receiving power.
The PWR LED is on, but the LAN LED does not turn on. What should I do?
1. Make sure the Ethernet cable is firmly connect on both the TPA-311 and the opposing
connection.
2. Try another Ethernet cable.
3. The maximum distance for Ethernet is 100 meters (333 feet). Do not use an Ethernet cable
longer than 100 meters.
The PWR LED is on, but the HPNA LED does not turn on. What should I do?
1. Make sure the Coaxial cable is firmly connected on both the TPA-311 and the F-connector.
2. Second, the maximum distance is 1600 meters (5,249 feet). Do not use a Coaxial cable
longer than 1600 meters.
