Locating major FRUs and CRUs
The following figure shows the locations of the major FRUs and CRUs in the computer. To remove the
computer cover, see "Removing the computer cover" on page 67.
Used to attach a parallel printer or other devices that use a 25-pin parallel connector.
Used to attach an external modem, a serial printer, or other devices that use a
9-pin serial connector.
Used to attach a device that requires a USB 2.0 connection, such as a keyboard, a
mouse, a scanner, a printer, or a personal digital assistant (PDA).
Used to attach a VGA monitor or other devices that use a VGA monitor connector.
Note: The VGA monitor connector is not applicable on some models. If your
computer has a graphics card installed, ensure that you use a monitor connector on
the graphics card.
