Breathe Easy™
This is how to install the device:
➤ Fasten the device to a flat, smooth surface using the suction pads.
➤ Fill in the current date on the maintenance sticker (fig. 2 3, page 3). This
tells you when the ultraviolet lamp must be replaced in the following year.

WARNING!

Eye damage may result from directly viewing the light produced by
these lamps. To reduce the risk of exposure to UV radiation, take
UV-radiation protective measures for personnel during servicing.
➤ Connect one end of the 12 V power cable to the socket (fig. 2 2, page 3).
➤ Plug the other end of the cable into the 12 V source.
➤ Move the switch (fig. 2 1, page 3) to the required position:
– II (maximum purification, recommended): The fan operates at maxi-
mum speed. The ultraviolet lamp is on (you can see a blue glow
through the vents).
– I: The fan operates at lower speed. The ultraviolet lamp is on (you can
see a blue glow through the vents).
– 0: The fan and the ultraviolet lamp are switched off.

Replacing the ultraviolet lamp and the
nano-mesh divider
CAUTION! Ultraviolet lamp may cause injury
!
Ultraviolet lamps are made of glass and are fragile. Safety eyewear
and puncture resistant gloves must be worn when handling an ul-
traviolet lamp
Ultraviolet lamps have a limited service life. After around 9000 service hours
(about a year of continuous use) they lose their germicidal effectiveness. You
must therefore replace the lamp after this period, even if it still lights up.
NOTE
I
Each time you switch the ultraviolet lamp on and off, you reduce its
service life by about an hour.
