We recommend having an assistant
hold the back corner of the Top
piece during steps 16, 17 and 18.
16. Carefully slide Top Corner Exten-
sion piece into place at rear of
Mantel/Top. Insert Bolt (L) and
Washer (M) into the pre-drilled
hole in the center mounting bracket
(from the back). Then use a wood
connector (R), align pre-drilled the
holes in the connector with the
pre-drilled holes in the mounting
blocks. Insert Bolt (L) and Washer
(M) from the outside into the holes.
And repeat for the opposite side.
HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.
17. Locate "L" shaped Corner Brace
(Q), insert one Wood dowel (N) into
each of the pre-drilled holes, set
part aside.
18. Gently lift back of Corner and line up
dowels in top of "L" Brace with pre-
drilled holes at bottom of Top Corner
Extension. Slide dowels into holes
and secure with Bolt (L) and
Washer (M).
HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.
19. Slide the bottom of the "L" Brace
dowels into place, and attach with
Bolt (L) and Washer (M).
HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.
Now you may tighten down all
the bolts holding the Corner Back
assembly. Be careful not to over
tighten.
