    3.6.6 Copying and Editing Samples One powerful feature of TRAKTOR's Remix Decks is that when you copy Samples from one pad to another, you are actually using the same audio material in different places. This keeps your hard drive from getting bloated with duplicates, but also lets you get into some creative remix- ing.

    When you first launch TRAKTOR with your F1 connected, or when you connect an F1 while TRAKTOR is already running, the F1 will indicate which Remix Deck it is currently set to con- trol by the two ways described above. When launched, the corresponding 2x2 Pad Matrix quad- rant will flash.
