Text-To-Speech Options
Text-to-speech (TTS) provides audible readout of text, such
as the contents of text messages.
1. From the Home screen, touch
My device tab
2. Touch Text-to-speech options for options:
• Preferred TTS engine

Select Samsung text-to-speech engine or
Google Text-to-speech Engine as your default
TTS engine. Touch
• General

Speech rate: Choose a speed at which the text is spoken.

Listen to an example: Play a sample of speech synthesis.
Mouse/Trackpad
This option sets the pointer speed for an externally
connected mouse or trackpad (not included).

2. Touch and drag along the scale to set the pointer
speed.

• Zoom: Tilt the device to zoom in or out when viewing pictures
in Gallery.
• Move an icon: Move the device left or right while touching an
icon to reposition it to another page.
• Browse an image: Move the device in a side-to-side motion to
pan from side to side while viewing an image.
