THE TAILGATE
To open, unhook the latches, and
then lower the tailgate.
To close, place the tailgate in its
original position, and then hook the
latches.

RAISING AND
LOWERING THE
CARGO BED
To raise, pull the cargo bed
release lever toward the rear to

unlatch the latches. The gas
springs assist in raising and
holding the cargo bed open.
TIP
Y-1758
The gas springs will only open/hold
the cargo bed when it is empty.
To lower, push down on the box to
A
lower it in the original position.
Make sure the latches for the
cargo bed are securely latched.
