To remove a 5.25-inch front-panel insert, perform the following steps:
1. Hold the front panel with the front facing you.
2. From the front of the top cover, use your thumbs to press inward on the insert until it snaps free of the cover.
To replace a 5.25-inch front-panel insert, position the two ring-tabs over the posts on the inside of the bay opening, and then press the ring tabs
over the posts.

Front Panel

To access the drive bays, you must first remove the front panel. To remove the front panel, you first must remove the computer cover (see
"Computer
Cover"). With the cover removed, release the front panel by pressing the green front-panel release button marked with the icon (see
Figure 7).

While pressing the green front-panel release button, tilt the top of the front panel away from the chassis and carefully lift the front panel away from
the chassis.
To replace the front panel, fit the two retaining hooks on the front panel into their corresponding slots at the bottom of the chassis (see
Then rotate the top of the front panel toward the chassis until the front panel snaps into place.
