Description
Switch's PoE ports will successfully bring up the ShoreTel
IP phones. Power used by Phone while on or off hook is
less than Allocation power
The ShoreTel IP phones are dynamically configured by
the DHCP server. IP address and Voice VLAN ID are
assigned by the DHCP server and successfully registered
with ShoreTel Communication manager.
The ShoreTel IP phones are also statically configured
with IP addresses and Voice VLAN IDs and registered
with ShoreTel Communication manager successfully.
Description
The PCs are connected behind the ShoreTel IP phone (in
both the static and DHCP dynamically configured case).
The PCs are successfully assigned an IP address and data
VLAN ID. Sending data traffic from the PCs does not
interrupt the ongoing phone call.
The QoS function is clarified according to DSCP set on
the ShoreTel IP phones. The EXTREME
switch successfully classifies the voice traffic
and queueing/schedule accordingly.
