7. INSTRUCTIONS FOR RESETTING AN UNKNOWN
COMBINATION
The door m m u u s s t t b b e e o o p p e e n n during the following
procedure.
The only way to clear a lost combination is to
remove the combination chamber located in the
front lock assembly.
1) Insert the control key into the front housing
cylinder and turn it 90° to the right (clockwise),
to the horizontal position.
2) Pull the front lock assembly away from the door
to remove it from the mounting bracket.

3) Use a
" Allen wrench to loosen the set screw

securing the turn knob (see Figure 7-1). Remove
the turn knob and bushing (see Figure 7-2).
Before going to Step 4, scribe a mark on the
drive hub and combination chamber cover to
aid in reassembing the drive hub to its original
position (See Figure 7-3).

4) Using the

the three Allen set screws from the drive hub so
you can remove the drive hub from the back side
of the combination chamber (see Figure 7-3).
5) In order to remove the combination chamber
from the lock housing, you must first turn the
control key to the vertical position so you can
access the two screws holding the combination
chamber to the front lock assembly.
6) Remove
the
combination chamber, then remove the
chamber from the front lock assembly (see
Figure 7-2).
7) Place a small screwdriver on the edge of the 3-
sided dust cover and push down on the
screwdriver (See Figure 7-4). The cover should
pop loose. Once it does, pull the cover off of the
combination chamber.
