Sending an Instant Personal Alert
1. Press
Contact List.
2. Press the Navigation key up or down to highlight the entry you wish to call. (Or, if you
prefer, you can enter the 10-digit number of the Verizon Wireless PTT subscriber.)
3. Press the Left Soft key
4. If the called party answers the alert, you will hear the called party speaking.
5. When the called party is finished speaking, you will hear the Floor Available tone and the
screen will indicate that no one is speaking.

Receiving an Instant Personal Alert
When your phone receives an alert, the PTT Alert tone plays. The message "Instant

Personal Alert" is displayed with the phone number or contact name of the calling party.
2. To answer the alert, press and hold
the Left Soft key [Dismiss].
