1. Bolts at the bottom of the height-of-cut plate
13. If the deck is too low, tighten the single point
adjustment bolt by rotating it clockwise. If the deck is
too high, loosen the single point adjustment bolt by
rotating it counterclockwise
Note: Loosen or tighten the single point adjustment
bolt enough to move the height-of-cut plate mounting
bolts at least 1/3 the length of the available travel
in their slots. This will regain some up-and-down
adjustment on each of the 4 deck links.

14. Tighten the 2 bolts at the bottom of the height-of-cut
plate

95). Torque them to 37 to 45 N-m (27
to 33 ft-lb).
Note: In most conditions, the back blade tip should
be adjusted 6.4 mm (1/4 inch) higher than the front.
15. On both sides of the deck, measure from the level
surface to the back tip of the blade (Postion B). The
(Figure
96).

measurement should read 8.3 cm (3-1/4 inches); refer
to
Figure
93.
16. Fine-tune the adjuster screw by turning it to get 8.3
mm (3-1/4 inches) height
To increase the height, turn the adjustment nut
clockwise; to decrease the height, turn the nut
counterclockwise.
17. Measure until all 4 sides are the correct height. Tighten
all the jam nuts on the deck-lift arm assemblies.
18. Lower the discharge chute.
