Problem
Cannot play back a disc.
USB flash drive cannot be read.

Make sure that the product supports the disc.
Check the region code of the disc. (Refer to page 26.)
Clean the disc.
The format of the drive is not accepted by this unit or the drive is not compatible.
Make sure that the disc was recorded in the UDF, ISO9660 or JOLIET format.

BDs/DVDs/USB flash drives, or 8kHz, 11.025kHz,12kHz, 16kHz, 22.05kHz, 24kHz, 32kHz,
44.1kHz, 48kHz, 64kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz on CDs.
Reset this unit by turning it off for 30 seconds, then on again.
The operation is not possible.
To completely reset the unit, press and hold [STANDBY/ON] on the front panel for
10 seconds to shut down the unit or unplug the AC cord from the AC outlet for 5-10
seconds.
Is "Power On Play" function enabled? If so, open the disc tray to temporarily disable the
function, then set "Power On Play" to "Off". (p.35)
Operations may not be permitted by the disc. Refer to the instructions of the disc.
Check if the disc is compatible with this unit. (Refer to page 25.)
Wipe dirt off the disc or replace the disc.
The angle cannot be switched for Blu-ray Disc™ / DVD which do not contain multiple
angles. In some cases multiple angles are only recorded for specific scenes.
Check setting of "BD Rating Level" or "DVD Rating Level". (Refer to page 45.)
Enter the default password "4737", then your forgotten password will be cleared.
Make sure that the selected group (folder) does not contain more than 9,999 files for
Blu-ray Disc™ / DVD / USB flash drive, and 999 files for CD.
Make sure that the file extension is .jpg, .JPG, .jpeg or .JPEG.

Make sure that the unit is connected to an HDMI CEC compatible TV and the "HDMI CEC" is
set to "On".
This error message may appear when your TV's OSD language is not supported by this
unit.
