To receive MSN Direct content, you must first activate your

service (free trial service included).
To get the product key:
1. Put the unit in the mount. On the Navigation Portable Pro Menu
page, touch Tools > MSN
2. Write down the product key.
tIp: The yellow tag card included with your product
documentation also provides the product key and activation
information.

To activate your su�scription: activate your su�scription:
1. Call (866) 658.7032 or go to http://garmin.msndirect.com
/activate and follow the directions.
2. Within eight days, complete the following steps:
• Mount the BMW Navigation Portable Pro in your vehicle and
turn on the unit.
• Ensure that you are in an MSN Direct coverage area (see
http://garmin.msndirect.com/coverage).
• Touch Tools > MSN Direct. If the Subscription Inactive page
appears, verify that at least one
