Durch das Steuerrad
(Fig. 1) werden die 4 CAM-Schalter (Fig. 2, 5)
betätigt, durch die die Steuerungs-Software ermittelt, in welcher Stel-
lung sich das Laufwerk befindet. Weiterhin werden vom Steuerrad
mechanisch die Steuerhebel (Fig. 4) für die 3 Schubladen betätigt,
sowie die Lasereinheit angehoben bzw. abgesenkt.
Die einzelnen Positionen des Steuerrades sind:

Schublade 3 kann ein- und ausgefahren werden zum Einlegen
einer CD (Steuerhebel 3 in Position 1, Fig. 6).

Schublade 3 kann in Stellung SET-UP gebracht werden zum
Abspielen einer CD (Steuerhebel 3 in Position 2, Fig. 6).

Es wird versucht eine CD in Schublade 3 zu lesen (alle Steuerhe-
bel in Position 3, Fig. 6).

The cam wheel
(Fig. 1) operates the 4 cam switches (Fig. 2, 5), by
which the control software determines the actual position of the CD
drive. Furthermore the cam wheel mechanically operates the levers
(Fig. 3) for the 3 trays, as well as the up an down movement of the pick
up unit.
The positions of the cam wheel are:

Tray 3 can be ejected and closed to insert a CD (tray lever 3 is in
position 1, Fig. 6).

Tray 3 can be moved in position SET-UP to play a CD (tray lever 3
is in position 2, Fig. 6).

Drive tries to read a CD in tray 3 (all tray levers are in position 3,
Fig. 6).
