Using the
(Bulb) Mode
This mode is useful when long exposures are needed for shooting night scenes or firework displays.
The shutter remains open as long as the shutter release button is kept pressed.
1. Set the mode dial to

Turn the e-dial to adjust the aperture value.
Set the aperture value in increments of 1/2 EV or 1/3 EV. Set in [Expsr Setting Steps] in the

Use a sturdy tripod and the cable switch SSR-D1 (optional) to prevent camera shake when using
(Bulb) mode. Connect the cable switch to the cable switch terminal.
Bulb shooting is available when using the remote control shooting mode (p.57). The shutter
