Operation

● Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet
and place it on a level, heat-proof surface
using the counter rest. Let the power cable
hang down to stabilize the appliance.
● To switch on, hold down the ON/OFF
switch 1 for about 1 second. The pre-

set temperature (120 °C) lights up on the
display 3.
● The desired temperature can now be
set using the temperature selector 2
at intervals of 10 between 120 °C and
200 °C.
– Up to 140 °C for ine, delicate hair
– Approx. 180 °C for normal hair
– 180 °C or higher for thick or wavy hair.
Tip: Reduce the temperature for
damaged hair (the ideal temperature is
approx. 140 °C) to protect it.
The appliance heats up. If the tempera-
ture has been reached, the display shows
READY.
Note: To switch off, hold down the ON/OFF
switch 1 for about 1 second.

Use
Risk of burns!
Never allow appliance to come into
contact with skin (scalp or ears).
● Only use the appliance on dry hair.
● Use only on untreated, healthy hair.
● Use less frequently on permed, coloured
or affected hair.
Note: Fine hair responds very quickly to
the treatment. The even heat emission is
especially gentle on the hair.
● Comb the hair and section it into even
strands (about 2-3 cm wide). The iner
the strands, the tighter the curl, as all the
hair comes into contact with the heated
curling tongs.
● Open the curling iron by pressing the clip

● Insert a strand of hair and close the clip.

● Now pull the curling tongs down to the
ends of the hair and turn to wind up the
strand. Figure b
Important: If you have long hair, use the
entire surface of the heated barrel. This
spreads the heat evenly through the hair
and delivers better styling results.
● Leave the curling tongs in the hair for a
few seconds to shape the curl.
● Release the strand of hair by opening the
clip with small movements while removing
the curling iron sideways from the hair
strand.
N.B.: Make sure that the curl is not pulled
straight when removing the curling tongs.
For longer lasting curls, use a hair clip to
hold the curl in place while it is still rolled
up.
When placing the appliance on the counter,
place it on a level, heat-proof surface using
the counter rest. Let the power cable hang
down to stabilize the appliance.
