Aim the remote control
at the camera, and
press the button.
The shutter will be released about 3
seconds after the beep.
Notes:
Use selftimer outside the above range.
The remote control may not work when the subject
is backlit or when it is difficult for autofocus to lock
onto (see p. 43).
Important: After the shot(s), be sure to press the
self-timer/remote control button again to cancel
the Self-Timer/Remote Control mode.

Notes on the Remote Control:
The remote control may not work when
there is backlighting and when
autofocusing is difficult (see p. 43).
Continuous shooting cannot be performed
when the remote control is used.
The shutter will not release using the
remote control when the remote control's
battery is exhausted.
The battery of the remote control cannot
be replaced. The remote control unit is
expendable. Order a new one from your
nearby camera store or Olympus service
center when it no longer transmits signals
to the camera.
CAUTIONS:
Keep the remote control out of the reach
of children. In case it is swallowed,
immediately consult a physician.
Keep the remote control away from fire
and extreme heat. Never try to
disassemble it.
