Setting the warning tone

You can select the volume of the beep sound used for warnings from OFF,
LOW, or HIGH. You can turn the sound off completely by setting OFF.

SLEEP – Setting the time until the camera enters sleep mode
The camera automatically enters the sleep mode after being left unoperated for
a preset length of time. Press the shutter button or arrow pad to cancel the sleep
mode and reactivate the camera.

• The camera will not enter sleep mode when powered by the AC adapter.
• In q mode, the camera will enter sleep mode and the monitor will turn off
Note
after 3 minutes of non-operation, regardless of the time set in the sleep
timer.
• In slideshow mode, the camera will enter sleep mode and the monitor will
turn off after 30 minutes.
• In shooting mode, when the powersaving mode is set to ON, the camera will
enter sleep mode and the viewfinder will turn off after 10 seconds,
regardless of the time set in the sleep timer.
