    3.10 COLLAR INSTALLATION WARNING FAILURE TO INSTALL THE CAP WILL CAUSE THE APPLIANCE TO FUNCTION IMPROPERLY AND CAN CAUSE INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. Slide the gasket over the collar. Place evenly over the collar fl ange. Insert the vent pipes through the fi restop maintaining the required clearance to combustibles.     4.0 INSTALLATION WARNING ENSURE TO UNPACK ALL LOOSE MATERIALS FROM INSIDE THE FIREBOX PRIOR TO HOOKING UP THE GAS AND ELECTRICAL SUPPLY. IF YOUR APPLIANCE IS SUPPLIED WITH A REMOTE ENSURE THE REMOTE RECEIVER IS IN THE “OFF” POSITION PRIOR TO HOOKING UP THE GAS AND ELECTRICAL SUPPLY TO THE APPLIANCE. FOR SAFE AND PROPER OPERATION OF THE APPLIANCE, FOLLOW THE VENTING INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY.

    4.1.1 HORIZONTAL INSTALLATION WARNING THE FIRESTOP ASSEMBLY MUST BE INSTALLED WITH THE VENT SHIELD TO THE TOP.
