Using the cultivator

Lifting the handlebars slightly will increase the cultivator's
speed of propulsion, which means that the blades will not dig
as deeply into the soil. Pressing the handlebars down has
the effect of reducing the speed of the machine, and making
the blades work deeper. When cultivating hard or stony
ground, it is advisable to proceed slowly.
