Sound

Change the settings for various sounds on the Gear.
On the Home screen, tap Settings → Sound.
• V olume: Adjust the volume level for various sounds, such as multimedia, ringtone,
notifications, and system sounds.
• S ound mode: Select Gear's sound mode from sound, vibration, and mute.
• T ouch sounds: Set the Gear to make a sound when applications or options are selected
on the touch screen.
• R ingtones: Select a ringtone to alert you to incoming calls.
• N otifications: Select a tone that sounds when events occur, such as incoming messages
and missed calls.
• V ibration: Adjust the intensity of the vibration notification.

Display

Change the settings for the display.
On the Home screen, tap Settings → Display.
• B rightness: Adjust the brightness for the display.
• S creen timeout: Set the length of time the Gear waits before turning off the display's
backlight.
• F ont: Change the font type and size for display text.
• L anguage: Select a display language for all menus and applications.
When the Gear is connected to a mobile device, the language settings applied on the
mobile device are applied to the Gear. The language settings can only be changed on
the connected mobile device.
• W ake-up gesture: Set the Gear to turn on and show a specified screen by using a
gesture. Raise the hand that is wearing the Gear and look at the Gear's screen for a few
seconds. The screen turns on and a preset screen is displayed.
• H ome icon size: You can adjust the size of the icons on the Home screen.
• E dit home screen: You can change the location of the icons on the Home screen and
delete them.
