Removing and cleaning
the water collecting tray
Spilled water collects in the water
collecting tray. The water collecting tray
can be emptied and cleaned by pulling
it out.
Removing and cleaning
the ice cube container
If ice cubes have not been dispensed
for a prolonged period, they will shrink,
have a stale taste and stick together.
S Pull out the container, empty and
clean with lukewarm water.
S Thoroughly dry the container and
screw conveyor to prevent new ice
cubes from sticking.
Inserting the ice cube
container
S Push the ice cube container all the
way back onto the supports until it
locks into position.
S If the container cannot be pushed
all the way back, twist the screw
conveyor in the container.
Ice cube production continues.

Disconnecting the ice
cube maker
If ice cubes are not to be dispensed
for longer than 1 week (e.g. holiday),
temporarily disconnect the ice cube
maker to prevent the ice cubes from
freezing together.
S Press the
Ice maker
lock button.

The symbol lights up.
S Remove the ice cube container,
empty and re insert. Ensure that the
ice cube container engages with the
support.
Switching on the ice cube maker again:
S Press Ice maker" lock button.
The symbol goes out.

Water filter

Warning
!
In places where the water quality is
suspect or unknown, do not use
the appliance without adequate
disinfection before or after filtering.
A new filter can be obtained from after
sales service.
Change the filter at least every
6 months, and, at the latest, when
Filter change required" appears in
the display.
Changing the filter
S Caution: unplug the appliance or
switch off the circuit breaker.
S Disconnect the water supply to the
appliance.
S Press the knob and remove the
cover.
S Carefully turn the filter 90º anti clock
wise, and pull it out.
S Remove the new filter from its pack
aging and remove the protective cap.
S Insert the new filter into the holder,
and carefully turn it 90º clockwise.
S Refit the cover.
