2. Secure the rear grill (E) in its place using the
rear grill mounting nut (D). Turn this nut
clockwise and tighten firmly.
3. Slide the fan blade (B) onto the motor shaft
(F) through the rear protrusion, removing
and discarding plastic sleeve (G) if included.
Loosen securing screw (C) on side of
protrusion first. Then make sure securing
screw aligns with notch on motor shaft and
tighten. CAUTION: Avoid contact with sharp
end of blades.
4. Centre the front grill (A) by aligning the
Bionaire logo on the logo plate so that it is
horizontal and parallel with the floor. Then
place the bracket at the top over the front
and rear grills with the hole on the bracket
going through the center vertical bar. Affix
the other clips, making sure they go over
both the front and rear grills.
Final assembly
1. Slide the inner pole extension (N) up from
the outer pole (P), first loosening the pole
locking knob (O), to securely hold this
position. Tighten the pole locking knob (O).
2. Place the fan head assembly into this
extension pole, inserting the fan's head neck
(M) into the pole opening.
3. Add the fan head locking knob (L) to the
hole in the fan head's neck (M), making sure
holes are aligned, and tighten.
NOTE: Fan head locking knob (L) may be in
additional short pole when shipped.
Converting to a table fan
An additional short pole (Q) is supplied which
allows the fan to be converted into a table fan.
To change to this short pole, remove the fan
head assembly from its position on top of the
inner pole extension (N) and unscrew the
T-shaped locking lever (U) at the base. Remove
the outer pole (P), replace with the short pole (Q)
and reassemble as detailed above.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Set the fan base on a dry level surface
2. Make sure the Selector (Speed) Control (H)
is in the OFF(0) position. Selector (Speed)
Control (H) is located on the top of the fan
motor housing.
3. Plug the cord into a suitable 220-240V. AC
outlet.
4. The SPEED is adjusted by turning the
Selector (Speed) Control (H) to the desired
setting: 0-1-2-3.
5. The OSCILLATION control (I) is located on
the top of the fan motor housing. To start
oscillation, push the control knob down. To
stop oscillation, pull the control knob up.

ADJUSTMENT
Tilt adjustment
To adjust tilt, loosen the tilt head adjustment
knob (K) and tighten to desired angle.
Height adjustment
Follow these instructions to adjust the height of
the fan.
1. Turn the pole locking knob (O) counter-
clockwise to loosen the pole.
2. Adjust the pole to the desired height and
firmly tighten the locking knob in a clockwise
direction.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Follow these instructions to correctly and safely
care for your BionaireTM fan. Please remember:
• Always unplug the fan before cleaning or
assembly.
• Do not allow water to drip on or into the fan
motor housing.
• Be sure to use a soft cloth, moistened with a
mild soap solution.
• Do not use any of the following as a cleaner:
petrol, thinners or benzene.
Fan blade cleaning
(See instructions for fan head assembly)
1. To access the fan blade, remove the front
grill and securing screw.
2. Clean the fan blade, front and rear grills with
a soft moist cloth.
3. Replace the fan blade, tighten screw and
securely fasten the front grill.
Fan head, base and pole cleaning
Using a soft, moist cloth, with or without a mild
soap solution, carefully clean the fan base, pole
and head. Please use caution around the motor
housing area. Do not allow the motor or other
electrical components to be exposed to water.
FAN STORAGE
Your fan can be stored either partially
disassembled or assembled.
It is important to keep it in a safe, dry location.
• If stored disassembled, we recommend
using the original (or appropriately sized)
box.
• If stored assembled or partially assembled,
remember to protect the fan head from dust.

Ajuste de la altura
Siga estas instrucciones para ajustar la altura
del ventilador.
1. Para aflojar el mástil, gire el mando de
fijación del mástil (O) en el sentido contrario
de las agujas de reloj.
2. Ajuste la altura que desee del mástil y
apriete firmemente el botón de fijación en el
sentido de las agujas del reloj.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Seguir estas instrucciones para cuidar

• Desenchufar siempre el ventilador antes de
su limpieza o montaje.
• No permitir que entre agua en la carcasa del

limpieza: gasolina, aguarrás o bencina.
Limpieza de hojas del ventilador
(Véanse las instrucciones de montaje del
cabezal de ventilador)
1. Para acceder las hojas de ventilador, retirar
la parrilla delantera y los tornillos de fijación.
2. Limpiar las hojas del ventilador, parrillas
delantera y trasera con una paño húmedo
suave.
3. Volver a poner las hojas de ventilador,
apretar los tornillos y asegurar la parrilla
delantera.
Limpieza de cabezal de ventilador,
base y barra
Con un paño húmedo suave, con o sin solución
de jabón suave, limpiar cuidadosamente la base
del ventilador, barra y cabezal. Por favor limpiar
el entorno de la carcasa de motor con
precaución. No permitir que el motor u otros
componentes eléctricos estén expuestos al
agua.
ALMACENAMIENTO DE VENTILADOR
Su ventilador puede almacenarse montado o
parcialmente desmontado.
Es importante mantenerlo seguro en un lugar
seco y seguro.
• Si se almacena desmontado, recomendamos
utilizar la caja original (o de un tamaño
apropiado).
• Si se almacena montado o parcialmente
montado, recordar proteger el cabezal del
ventilador contra la entrada de polvo.
