Important Safety Notes - Singer BEUTY 1800 W Instruction Manual

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions must always be followed:
1. This appliance is for domestic use only.
2. Insert the plug into the socket after checking that the voltage is the same as indicated on the
technical data and technical rating plate of the appliance.
3. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is in use. Keep the appliance away from
children and infi rm persons.
4. Plastic bags are not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children. Danger of suffocation
exists.
5. To protect against the risk of electric shock, fi re or personal injury, do not immerse the
appliance in water or any other liquid. Never use with wet hands or feet.
6. Do not use the appliance into water.
7. Do not use the appliance in humid areas, such as bathrooms.
8. Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water.
9. Do not leave the appliance exposed to sun, rain, etc.
10. Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
11. Never pull the cable to disconnect it from the socket. Instead, unplug by pulling the plug from
the socket.
12. Do not use an extension cable, unless it is 10A.
13. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions
or has been damaged in any manner. In such case you must contact any Singer Service
Center or Singer Client Service.
14. The appliance must not be left unattended while connected to the mains supply.
15. Never cover the blower or intake opening and ensure that the intake opening does not
become blocked with fl uff or hair.
16. The appliance should not be used if it has been dropped or if there are any visible signs
of damage. In such case, you should contact any Singer Service Center or Singer Client
Service.
17. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any hot
surfaces.
18. The partial or total non-respect of the safety instructions in the present instruction manual
will automatically release Singer of any type of responsibility in case of malfunction of the
machine or injuries to persons or animals.
19. In case of manipulation, repairing or any modifi cation of the machine made by unqualifi ed
persons or in case of improper use, the guarantee will be automatically cancelled.
