ENG pORTABLE AIR cONDITIONER INsTRucTION GuIDE
Thank you for purchasing the analog
portable air conditioner (item # ACAN14).
This unit features cooling, fan functions, and
quiet operation. Setting up the portable air
conditioner requires minimal installation
effort.
When operating as an air conditioner, this
unit is designed for spot cooling, optimal
for a room no larger than 100 square feet
with a standard ceiling height of 8 feet. Use
in gardening applications should not exceed
(2) 1,000 watt air cooled lighting systems.
For optimal CO2 supplementation, this unit
should cycle off during the CO2 injection
schedule.
The unit incorporates a power outage auto
reset function and will automatically restore
the last setting of operation selected prior
to the power outage. If using a cycle timer,
please allow a minimum three minute
interval of off time before cycling the
compressor back on. Failure to do so may
damage the operation.

sAFETY
• Before installing and using the portable
air conditioner, please review this
manual, including the following safety
recommendations:
• Do not place the unit in any position
besides vertical/upright, even temporarily
or for storage.
• Wait three minutes before restarting
cooling mode if the unit is turned off or
power is lost.
• Never place or use flammable vapors or
liquids near the unit.
• Maintain at least 10 inches of clearance
around the unit. Do not cover or block air
flow through the inlet or outer grilles, as
doing so may result in internal damage to
the unit.
• Ground power to the unit to a 120V
outlet.

• Do not use an adapter plug, surge
protector, power splitter, or extension
cord with the unit.
• Do not pour or spray water directly on the
unit or into the grilles.
• Do not allow children to access the unit.
ThE REMOTE cONTROL
• The POWER button turns the power on or
off to the portable air conditioner.
• The TIMER button operates the air
conditioner's timer.
• The TEMP+ button raises the temperature
by one degree.
• The TEMP- button lowers the
temperature by one degree.
• The FAN SPEED button determines the
fan speed.
• The MODE button toggles the air
conditioner between cool and
dehumidify.

1.
Determine where to install the air
conditioner, which must be near a
window (if you are using the included
window kit; otherwise, we recommend
three to four feet of separation
between the intake and exhaust holes)
and have a power outlet.
2.
Clear and clean the windowsill where
you will install the air conditioner.
3.
Open window and attach window kit to
window.
4.
Attach the oval fixing clip to the window
unit kit.
5.
Expand the exhaust hose to its full
length.
6.
Twist both ends of the exhaust hose
clockwise, fitting one end into the
square fixing clip and one end into the
oval fixing clip.
7.
Expand a second exhaust hose to its full
length.
8.
Attach the exhaust hose to the bottom
hole on the back of the unit and the
other opening on the window unit kit.

Tournez les deux extrémités du conduit
vers la droite, en raccordant une
extrémité dans le crochet de fixation
carré et l'autre dans le crochet de
fixation ovale.
7.
Dépliez complètement le deuxième
conduit d'extraction.
8.
Raccordez le conduit d'extraction dans
l'orifice inférieur de la partie arrière de
l'unité et l'autre extrémité dans le kit de
l'unité de la fenêtre.
9.
Fermez la fenêtre pour bloquer le kit
vers bas.
10. Branchez le câble électrique à une prise
de terre de CA115V/60Hz.
11. Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF
(marche/arrêt) afin de brancher le
climatiseur.
uTILIsATION Du
cLIMATIsEuR
1.
Appuyez sur la touche MODE pour
faire apparaître le symbole "Cool"
(Réfrigérer) qui ressemble à un flocon
de neige.
2.
Appuyez sur la touche TEMP+ ou TEMP-
pour sélectionner la température
souhaitée de la pièce. Note : le
climatiseur fournit des températures
comprises entre 16,6 et 35°C (62 et
95°F).
3.
Appuyez sur la touche FAN SPEED pour
sélectionner la vitesse du ventilateur.
Il y a trois vitesses indiquées par des
barres LED sur l'écran. La vitesse zéro
correspond à la vitesse de ventilation la
plus faible.
4.
Appuyez sur la touche MODE pour faire
apparaître le symbole "Dehumidify
Indicator Lamp" (Voyant de
déshumidification) qui ressemble à une
goutte d'eau. La température descendra
jusqu'à 16°C (61°F) et elle n'est pas
réglable.
cONFIGuRATION Du
TEMpORIsATEuR
1.
Appuyez sur la touche TIMER. L'écran
clignotera sur 01.
2.
Appuyez sur la touche TEMP+ ou
TEMP- pour sélectionner l'heure
d'arrêt du climatiseur (Note : la durée
est exprimée en 24 heures. Si vous
souhaitez éteindre votre climatiseur à
11.00 am, vous devez appuyer sur la
touche jusqu'à ce que « 11 » apparaisse
sur l'écran. Si vous souhaitez éteindre
votre climatiseur à 11.00 pm, vous
devez appuyer sur la touche jusqu'à ce
que « 23 » apparaisse sur l'écran).
3.
Appuyez sur la touche TIMER pour
établir la durée. En option : appuyez
à nouveau sur la touche TIMER pour
revenir à l'écran de température. La
durée sera alors définie.
ARRêT Du cLIMATIsEuR
1.
Allumez le climatiseur. Appuyez sur la
touche TIMER.
2.
Appuyez sur la touche TEMP+ ou TEMP-
pour déterminer l'heure d'arrêt. L'heure
d'arrêt préétablie apparaît sur l'écran.
NETTOYAGE Du FILTRE à AIR
1.
Retirez le crochet de fixation carré dans
la partie arrière de l'appareil.
2.
Ouvrez la grille d'entrée d'air et retirez
le filtre à air.
3.
Nettoyez le filtre dans un mélange
d'eau chaude et de lessive neutre.
4.
Laissez sécher le filtre à air.
5.
Posez à nouveau le filtre dans la grille.
6.
Posez à nouveau le crochet de fixation
carré.
7.
Nettoyez le filtre à air une fois par
semaine ou dès que vous détectez de la
poussière ou des saletés.
cONsEILs
1.
Veuillez attendre trois minutes avant
de passer de la climatisation à la
déshumidification.
2.
La climatisation est conçue pour
faciliter un drainage continu. Si le
climatiseur ne va pas être utilisé
pendant une semaine ou plus, retirez
le bouchon en caoutchouc de l'orifice
de drainage dans la partie inférieure
de l'appareil. Branchez un conduit à la
sortie de drainage qui se trouve dans la
partie arrière inférieure de l'appareil.
Assurez-vous que le conduit est plus
bas que l'appareil. Il conviendra peut-
être de surélever l'appareil si vous
utilisez un bac ou un réservoir.
