Error Messages

The following table lists the error messages and other warnings displayed in the
monitor, as well as the solutions for dealing with them.
For Users of the COOLPIX S610c

with use of the wireless LAN feature.

exhausted.

camera to finish
recording.

Memory card is write
protected.
Problem
Clock not set.
Battery running low.
Battery exhausted.
Battery temperature is
high.
Camera cannot focus.
Camera cannot perform
other operations until
recording is complete.
Write-protect switch is in
"lock" position.
Solution
Set clock.
Prepare to charge or
change battery.
Charge or change battery.
Turn off camera, and allow
battery to cool down
before resuming use. After
five seconds, this message
will disappear, the monitor
will turn off, and the
power-on lamp will blink
rapidly. After the lamp
blinks for three minutes,
the camera will turn off
automatically, but you can
also press the power
switch to turn it off
manually.
Refocus.
Wait until message clears
from display automatically
when recording is
complete.
Slide write-protect to
"write" position.
