STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY • Turn the vehicle on its side as shown in the diagram. • Slide a Ø10 washer onto the steering column from the longer end. • Insert the longer end of steering column shaft through the bottom hole in the front of vehicle body until it sticks out of the hole in the dash.
  • Page 14 8. INSTALLING THE STEERING Battery compartment door WHEEL BATTERIES NOTE: Batteries are not included • Loosen the screw in the steering wheel and remove the cover. • Insert 2 X 1.5V size AA AM-3 or LR6 batteries as shown. • Replace the cover and tighten the screw to secure it in place.

    9. POWER SUPPLY CONNECTION NOTE: The battery is disconnected for shipment to prevent the battery from draining. • Loosen the two screws on battery cover with Phillips screwdriver. • After opening the battery cover, you will find two connectors at right inside the battery compartment.

    If your battery is old or if you have not followed Battery Care instructions, your battery may be dead. Replace only with an original 12 Volt (10 Amp/Hr.) battery.
