Nokia Map Loader

Nokia Map Loader is a PC software that allows you

to download free map data of regions or countries

and voice commands in different languages over

the Internet to your PC and to transfer them to

your device or memory card.

To download maps using Nokia Map Loader, you need to:

Install Nokia Map Loader software from http://maps.nokia.com to your PC.

Check that you have an Internet connection on your PC.

Connect your device to your PC using a USB cable or memory card (via a memory card reader).

Start the Nokia Maps application on your device.

Launch the Nokia Map Loader and select the country maps and voice commands you wish to download to your

device and follow the instructions on your PC screen to complete the download.

Tip: You can also download maps by using a wireless LAN connection.

When you browse the map on the display, for example, to move to another country, a new map is downloaded

automatically, provided that you have an Internet connection.

Note: Downloading maps directly from your device may involve the transmission of large amounts of data through your service

provider's network. Contact your service provider for information about data transmission charges.

You can view the amount of transferred data from the data counter (KB) shown on the display. The counter shows

the amount of network trafﬁ c when you browse maps, create routes, or search for locations online.

The maps are automatically saved in the device memory or on a compatible memory card if it is inserted in the device.
